S3 Advertising has been crowned the UK’s ‘Advertising Agency of the Year’ – beating off competition from London-based agencies in the process.
We were proud to fly the flag for the Welsh creative industries at The Drum Network Awards, which was held at The Marriott Grosvenor Square in London on Thursday the 24th November. The accolade comes just weeks after S3 was named in Wales’ Fast Growth 50 list, which marked it as the 11th fasting growing business in Wales in 2016.
Our CEO Matt Jones collected the award at the glittering ceremony, hosted by Richard Draycott, Managing Director at The Drum Network. He said: “If there was ever proof that Wales has the talent and the nerve to stand up to the advertising heavyweights across the border, then this is it.
“We are incredibly proud to be Welsh, and to be making waves in what is perceived as a very London-centric industry. I believe that achievements like this are a huge step forward for the Welsh creative sector as a whole.”
A panel of seventeen judges, made up of industry experts from brands including eBay, B&Q, and Gravity Road, were specially selected by industry bible The Drum to assess the entrants. S3 was chosen as the winner of its category over TV advertising specialists Guerillascope and international agency LONDON Advertising.
The gong completed a week of celebrations for S3, as we were also voted number one for client satisfaction at The Drum digital census – for the third year in a row.
Jones continued: “Our recent achievements are testament to the hard work and creative flair of the team. To be voted Best Agency and best for Client Satisfaction, all in the same week, demonstrates the great work each of our talented individuals is doing to produce the highest possible results for our clients.”
