With the Royal Welsh Winter Fair taking place in Builth Wells today and tomorrow, we wanted to take this opportunity to shine the spotlight on Welsh produce and the work of our client, NFU Cymru.
The finest prime stock show in Europe, the Royal Welsh Winter Fair brings together the best of Welsh livestock, poultry and horses for judging; the awards marking one of the highlights of the agriculture calendar.
One of the fair’s most prominent organisations, NFU Cymru are at the frontline when it comes to championing the lives of farmers and growers in Wales.
By providing Welsh farmers and growers with a voice, NFU Cymru are able to protect their members’ livelihoods, as well as secure them the best possible deals. From video production (below) to design, we are proud to be able to work alongside such an integral, high-profile Welsh organisation as NFU Cymru.
A great day out for all ages, the fair’s Food Hall has got us particularly excited. Why? Because absolutely nothing comes close to the taste of Welsh produce.
From beef to lamb, butter to salt, teabags to bread; there’s a certain love, care and attention that goes into producing Welsh food that just makes it taste better. A certain love, care and attention that no other nation is capable of, simply put.
And it seems we’re not the only ones who think so. Cardiff-based burger pioneers, Got Beef, for example, only use award-winning, Welsh Black beef to make their patties.

By pledging support to Welsh produce – whether during your weekly shop or restaurant choice – it’s a sign of commitment to real quality, whilst supporting local producers and boosting the Welsh economy.
And, with the festive season upon us, how you choose to pledge your support is certainly food for thought.
