Every now and then, we come across a Twitter account so brilliant, we have to share it. Take One Minute Briefs, for example, who task Twitterati’s creatives with daily briefs to respond to.
The only rule being, however, that creatives are given one minute to respond. The brainchild of Nick Entwistle, OMB often collaborate with big name brands, enabling the latter ‘to engage with a large audience very quickly and cost effectively.’
And since coming across the account a couple of weeks ago, it’s fair to say we’ve become a little bit addicted.
“As an agency, One Minute Briefs is a really great tool for us to exercise our creativity. Having a limited amount of time to respond to a variety of briefs keeps us on our toes which, in turn, improves idea generation. The OMB concept is creativity at its democratic best, allowing advertising students, creatives and freelancers a platform to shine and grab the attention of agencies and brands alike.”

Our first entry was in response to a brief set by the WWF, who were looking for ideas to promote Earth Hour: a lights-off event to support climate change. Combining simple copy with the visual from our ‘The Lion Amongst the Sheep’ campaign, we were able to answer the brief in a bold, powerful and thought-provoking manner.
