From the moment we first met Sophie and Hannah Pycroft (aka The Spectrum Sisters), we knew it was going to be the start of a really special client relationship.
Having set up Spectrum Collections – the company responsible for producing the world’s most Instagrammable makeup brushes – from their garage in Barry in 2014, the parallels between the girls’ rags-to-riches story and S3’s are uncanny.
When the girls approached us in June 2016, their beautifully designed, cruelty-free vegan brushes had already achieved cult status in the beauty world, thanks to a legion of avid fans, including a number of high profile celebrities.

Wanting to ride the wave of this initial success by increasing their online presence and revenue, Spectrum approached S3’s award-winning digital team.
“We’ve been working with the fabulous team at S3 to grow and promote our online presence through multiple Google AdWords campaigns,” said Hannah Pycroft, co-director of Spectrum.
Having audited Spectrum’s account, our digital team went to work on implementing a strategy that involved a series of highly targeted PPC campaigns that would reach the brand’s key demographic.
“Matt and Adam – our digital gurus – are faultless, constantly shaping and developing our campaign on a daily basis to achieve fantastic results,” Hannah added.

Results which, since starting their campaign management, have seen an increase in profit by 11,466% and return on investment by 614%; the sort of results that are testament to our digital team’s talent, know-how and hunger for success.
Hannah concluded: “We love a visit to The Lion’s Den for in-depth updates and reviews on our account, and look forward to many more campaigns and projects with Team S3.”
The feeling is mutual, Hannah.
